A number of changes and adjustments were made to the site's user interface for the needs of people with different disabilities. The site uses an AI-based application that runs in the background, fixes HTML issues, and adapts functionality for screen readers and keyboard navigation.

In order to improve the accessibility of the NETO website in line with this accessibility statement, we made a number of changes that help us provide better service to people with disabilities as well.
This site makes use of various technologies designed to make it as accessible as possible at all times.
We use an accessibility interface that supports people with specific disabilities.
We made a number of adjustments to the site's user interface (the UI)
and designed it around the needs of people with different disabilities, in order to provide better service,
with the goal of making the NETO platform accessible to the entire audience of job-seeking workers and of employers looking to recruit and employ workers.
In addition, the site uses an AI-based application that runs in the background and constantly improves its level of accessibility.
This application fixes the site's HTML issues,
the site adapts its functionality and behavior to the screen readers used by blind users,
and the site's accessibility is likewise adapted to the keyboard functions used by people with motor impairments.

Screen Reader and Keyboard Navigation Improve the Accessibility of the NETO Website

Summary

The site implements the ARIA attributes technique so that blind users browsing with screen readers can read, understand and enjoy all of the site's functions, and they receive a prompt to enter the screen-reader profile as soon as they enter the site.

The NETO website implements the ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes technique, alongside various behavioral changes,
in order to ensure that blind users visiting with screen readers can read,
as well as understand and enjoy, all of the website's functions.
As soon as a user with a screen reader enters the site,
they immediately receive a prompt to enter the screen-reader profile so they can browse and operate the site effectively.
In this way the NETO website covers some of the most important requirements of screen readers.

Screen Reader Optimization Improves the Website's Accessibility

Summary

A background process learns the site's components and provides screen readers with meaningful data through ARIA, scans the images and provides them with an ALT description based on object recognition and OCR. Activate the adjustments with Alt + 1, compatible with JAWS and NVDA.

In order to improve accessibility as part of the accessibility statement for the NETO website,
we run a background process that learns the site's components from top to bottom,
to ensure ongoing compliance even as the site is updated.
In this process we provide screen readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes.

  1. Accurate form labels
  2. Descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.)
  3. Validation guidance for form inputs
  4. Element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogs (popups) and others.

In addition, the background process scans all of the images on the NETO website (images on job searching and employee recruitment)
in order to provide an accurate and meaningful description based on image object recognition as an ALT tag (alternative text) for images that are not described.
It will also extract texts embedded within an image, using OCR (optical character recognition) technology.
To activate the screen-reader adjustments at any time,
the user only needs to press the Alt + 1 key combination.
Screen-reader users also receive automatic prompts to activate screen-reader mode as soon as they enter the site.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.

Optimizing Website Accessibility · Navigation Using Keyboard Shortcuts

Summary

The background process adapts the HTML and adds JavaScript behaviors so the site can be operated with the keyboard · navigation with Tab and Shift + Tab, arrow keys, Esc and Enter, plus quick-navigation menus available with Alt + 1.

The background process also adapts the site's HTML and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code,
in order to make the NETO website one that can be operated using the keyboard.
This includes the ability to navigate the site using the Tab and Shift + Tab keys,
to operate elements using the arrow keys and close them using Esc,
to trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, to move between radio and checkbox components using the arrow keys,
and to fill in some of the fields using the Space bar or the Enter key.
In addition, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus,
available at any time by pressing Alt + 1 while navigating with the keyboard.
The background process also handles popups triggered along the way by moving the keyboard focus toward them as soon as they appear,
and does not allow the focus to drift outside of them.

Users can also optimize accessibility by navigating with keyboard-key shortcuts

  • "M" (menus),
  • "H" (headings),
  • "F" (forms),
  • "B" (buttons)
  • "G" (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
